On behalf of the Academic and Educational Grid Initiative of Serbia (AEGIS), SCL's Vladimir Slavnic participated in the second Face-to-Face meeting of the EGI Operations Management Board. This event took place at Amsterdam's Science Park on 24 and 25 January 2011.

Through the numerous presentations and discussions, NGI Operations Managers, EGI-InSPIRE Service Activity 1 (SA1) task leaders and other invited participants covered various topics crucial for present and future Grid operations in the framework of EGI and National Grid Initiatives: network operations support, status and activity roadmap for 2011, operations architecture, EMI 2.0 requirements, monitoring and security procedures etc.
