AEGIS02-RCUB
At Belgrade University Computer Centre (RCUB) we have a scavenger grid site AEGIS02-RCUB - consisting of 14 nodes running Scientific Linux. The machines have 2.0 GHz AMD Sempron processors, 1GB RAM and 80 GB of hard disk space. Site have CE, SE, sBDII and MON nodes. The site hosts regional LFC. The Storage Area Network (SAN) cluster, which was donated by Sun Microsystems, is connected to the Storage element via NFS. It consists of Sun Storedge 3510 Fibre Channel Array with 5 x 73 GB SCSI 10k RPM Disks with HW Raid Controller and 1GB cache, which is extendable up to 1.7 TB. The array is connected through 2Gb PCI Dual FC Network Adapters (Sun Storedge 2 Gbps PCI Dual Fibre Channel network, 200 Mbps Channel with Optical Interface) to two Sun Fire SFV240 servers (1GHz Ultrasparc III, 512MB RAM, 36 GB SCSI HDD, 4 x 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet). Despite of total disk capacity of 365 GB, the effective capacity of the SAN is 211 GB, since RAID 5 is used.
