Organization structure of AEGIS
The governing body of AEGIS is the Assembly composed of all the members. The Assembly meets two times a year, or more often if needed.
Between Asembly meetings, the AEGIS related activities are coordinated by the Executive Board. The Executive Board members elected at the Inauguration Meeting are:

- Establishing per site policy
- Establishing AEGIS CA
- Site and user certification
- Information and expertise exchange:
- Web site creation and maintenance
- Creation of mailing lists
- Organization of training events
- Communication with the Ministry of Science and Environmental Protection:
- Recommendation to Ministry to form a Commission for Grid
- Lobbying for enhancement of Grid equipment
- EU projects - Successful AEGIS participants with dedicated recources will be offered to join SEE-GRID2 proposal as 3rd parties
